Service lines are the underground pipes and wires that connect your home to public utilities like water, sewer, electricity, and sometimes gas. These lines run from the street or the property line to your home. Standard homeowner's insurance typically doesn't cover damage to these lines once they leave your foundation.
What Does Service Line Coverage Cover?
Repair or Replacement: Service line coverage helps pay for the cost of repairing or replacing damaged service lines.
Excavation Costs: It can also cover the cost of digging up the line to access and repair it.
